The Shuttleworth Foundation
Thanks to TSF
We would like to thank The Shuttleworth Foundation for their assistance in hosting and providing the backend infrastructure we need in order to run the Computer Dictionary project efficiently.
In particular we would like to thank Thomas Black, Open Source Program Manager for The Shuttleworth Foundation, without whose consent this would not have been possible. In addition, we would like to thank Jonathan Carter, Systems Administrator at The Shuttleworth Foundation for his assistance in setting up and configuring the resources.
Last, but not least, we would like to extended an enormous thanks to Mark Shuttleworth, founder of The Shuttleworth Foundation, his contributions to OSS and humanity in general are nothing short of spectacular.
About the TSF
South African entrepreneur, Mark Shuttleworth, established the The Shuttleworth Foundation in October 2001 with the belief that education is the key to unlocking the creative and intellectual potential of the South African youth, allowing them to live the dream that "anything is possible."
With a passion for social development and education, the foundations main goal is to improve the quality of education in South Africa. The foundation invests in projects which offer unique and innovative, albeit high-risk, solutions to educational challenges in an African society, focusing on the areas of Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship and Maths (STEM) in education and open source software.
